Integrations
An integration is a service or brand that PorchIQ shows and controls on its own page, drawn for that kind of device: a dial for thermostats, a lock per door, a yard for sprinklers, the pool and spa from above. Each page opens with a sentence that says how things are (“Every lock that answers is locked”).
Switching an integration on Admin
- Go to Settings → Integrations. Each service shows whether it's found at each house.
- Switch it on. It gets a page in the menu.
- Untick any house whose devices you want to leave out.
- If the service needs keys, its setup sheet lists them and shows which ones are already set. PorchIQ picks up new keys within about 20 seconds.
Who can open each integration page is set per person in Settings → Accounts.
Integrations come from three places: through Home Assistant (the service is already added to Home Assistant at that house), direct (PorchIQ uses the service's own connection and keys), and built in (PorchIQ runs it itself, like the Matter server).
