Farm and animal watch

For properties with land, barns or animals, PorchIQ has two extra features. Both are optional and can be left off.

Animal watch

Cameras in a barn or stable check on each animal every few minutes and learn what's normal for it: how long it lies down, how much it eats, how much it moves. When something is unusual, PorchIQ flags it. It's a nudge to go and look, not a diagnosis. Choose the cameras to watch and who lives in each stall in the page's settings.

Farm alerts and the morning brief Admin

In Settings → Farm alerts, set a freeze warning temperature, pick sensors to watch (barn temperature, power, water trough levels) with the level that should alert, and set up the morning brief, a short summary of the night sent first thing. Each person chooses whether to receive Farm alerts and the morning brief on their Notifications page.
